Host of new attractions at X-Leisure’s Star
City
X-Leisure is delighted to announce the latest additions
to its 393,000 sqft Star City leisure and entertainment
destination in Birmingham. Following the successful launch
of Star Attractions last year, Funstation, a family entertainment
centre, and Flame, an Oriental restaurant, have both recently
joined Star City’s exciting leisure offer.
HJM Leisure Limited, trading as Funstation, has taken 6,480
sq ft at £64,800 pa for a term of twenty years. Funstation,
already an extremely popular attraction at X-Leisure’s
Xscape, in Castleford, is a family entertainment centre
anchored by a racy Route 66 dodgems track.
Flame, an Oriental buffet, has been added to complement
the line-up of bars and restaurants at Star City, joining
existing tenants Nandos, La Tasca, Ma Potters, Old Orleans,
Burger King and Pizza Hut.

Other attractions already at Star City include the UK’s
largest multiplex cinema and the largest casino in Europe,
a 22-lane Tenpin, a choice of restaurants and shops, a 50,000
sq ft health club, not to mention the recently introduced
‘Star Attractions’, comprising of a 30m real
snow tobogganing slope, a 30ft high rock-climbing wall,
a 15m aerial rope assault course running around the atrium
of Star City, and an interactive ‘Krypt’ horror
attraction, with a new coffee shop overlooking the attractions.
